The entire last week has been such a lazy experience for me. While I got a lot of exercise in from just doing tons of moving around in general over the holiday, I didn’t actually hit the gym.
Now I’m disappointed in myself. Just going to use that as motivation to actually kick my ass (pardon my language) later today. It’s Monday, therefore a new start, no excuses today.
My half marathon is just over 3 months away and I will destroy this race. I will continue to lift weights and build muscle and develop the defined body that I have always wanted.
Setbacks exist for a reason I guess. I know that everyone experiences them and that it’s up to the individual to overcome them and move forward, this will just help to build character for my training.
I can do this and I WILL go to the gym at least 4 times this week and run at LEAST 15 miles this week. This will happen.
